The CLICHE Bowl

NOT gonna post all of the crazy football clichés that you will hear, read, and see ad nauseum about rivalry games-- specifically THIS one.
BAMA-auburn 2017 Iron Bowl
If THE TIDE gets some injured defenders back, we should be okay. If the defense is as bad as it was against Mississippi State, Kerryon Johnson will embarrass us on national television.
The safe bet is that Coach Saban spent a LOT of time with Jeremy Pruitt and the defensive unit this Thanksgiving Holiday week.

BRENTOONS IRON BOWL PICK:

ALABAMA 35 AUBURN 21

First 2017 BAMA Gameday Comic

Well, this is my first chance to post my SEC picks and BAMA Gameday Comics this season. Here goes:

There should be a lot of close ones today, and many will be toss-ups. My guesses...?

Florida 34
Vandy  35  Both teams scoring, Commodores get the upset.

Georgia     38
Tennessee 17

LSU  21
Troy  20  Maybe another upset...?

MSU   28  Which bulldogs will show up...?
auburn 27  Which tigers will show up...?

Outside the conference, CLEMSON handles Virginia Tech 34-21
Ohio State beats Rutgers 42-17

Back to Reality:
BAMA will pound the identity-challenged Ole Miss squad
THE University of ALABAMA will host the Ole Miss Rebels/BlackBears/soon-to-be-Landsharks in a nationally-televised night game on ESPN. The TIDE's injured defenders have mostly healed and are back with a vengeance. ole miss will score, but BAMA will eventually over-power them.
Jalen ain't playin' -- playin' around, that is..
BAMA's stable of backs will just be poundin'...

My Pick:

ALABAMA 35
Ole Miss       21

BAMA-Clemson 2

ROUND 2!
THE University of ALABAMA faces off with the Clemson Tigers for the second straight year for the National Championship! The Tigers, led by former TIDE player and assistant coach Dabo Swinney, put up a good fight and came close last year. They are confident that they can compete with-- and have a GOOD chance to beat-- The mighty TIDE.
This looks to be a real 'slobber-knocker', but nobody sneaks up on a SABAN-coached team twice. He will have BAMA ready for Clemson.

Look for a good, close first half, but an angry TIDE defense will shut DeShaun Watson and company down.
GAMEDAY PICK:

ALABAMA 31
Clemson       21
